Each year Childhood Cancer Support holds a camp for oncology families from the surrounding Brisbane area. The Camp is held over 3 days on the Thompson Farm with many fun filled activities to be enjoyed. Anything from Archery, 4WD, crafts for the kids to a Yowie Hunt take place much to the delight of all who attend.
This is a opportunity for families to meet with other families going through a similar journey and a chance to relax and make new friendships. Over 30 families each year get to experience an real outback adventure and the children always look forward to the ghost stories and marshmellow night as well as the legendary Yowie Hunt.
The camp known as Camp Crystal is in its 21st year and normally falls the week after Easter.
Here are some photos of the families, volunteers and staff of Childhood Cancer Support having fun at this wonderful event.
